AI Summarizers

Summarize YouTube videos, web pages, articles, PDFs, Word documents, plain text, and audio with Shorty.

Shorty offers a family of free AI summarizers, all available from aishorty.com/summarizers. Each produces a structured summary you can read, edit, and keep.

Saved summaries and the editor

When you are signed in, every summary is saved to My Articles. Summaries open in a rich editor where you can:

  • Edit, format, and copy the text freely (never gated)
  • Use inline AI rewrites from the editor's bubble menu — successful AI rewrites are metered per day by plan (25 on Free, 150 on Premium, 400 on Pro); manual editing is always unlimited

Shorty Assistant

The chat assistant at aishorty.com/chat is aware of the tool you are using — for example, on a summarizer page it knows you are summarizing and can help with the content at hand.

Shorty also publishes AI-generated summaries of trending topics at aishorty.com/articles, and full-text search across articles is available at aishorty.com/search.

Want summaries programmatically? The same capabilities are exposed through the public API (POST /v1/summaries) and through MCP tools for AI assistants.
