Summary
Highlights
The Doctor is trapped inside a shrunken TARDIS, much to Clara's amusement. He expresses the seriousness of the situation, explaining that the TARDIS's exterior dimensions have changed, but he remains his normal size inside.
The Doctor reveals something nearby is "leeching all the external dimensions," possibly aliens. With the TARDIS sensors down and unable to take off, he instructs Clara to carefully pick up the miniature TARDIS. He explains that he's adjusted its relative gravity to make it lighter, as its true weight would fracture the Earth's surface.
The Doctor gives Clara a rough fix on the source of the dimensional leeching, located northwest. He then provides her with his sonic sunglasses and uses nanotech to hack her optic nerve, allowing him to see what she sees. He's unable to tell her his name, but Clara introduces herself as 'Doctor Oswald', much to the Doctor's dismay.
Clara and the Doctor encounter Rigsy, who questions Clara about her profession. Clara, playing along with her 'Doctor' facade, maintains a mysterious air while the Doctor (via Clara's perspective) admires Rigsy's intelligence.
