Chapter 1 — The New Transfer

A new transfer student named Dreadnought arrives at Class 1-A. He presents himself charismatically, but his arrival causes an immediate physical drop in temperature and creates an atmosphere of unease among the students. While he projects warmth and confidence, his presence triggers defensive instincts and suspicion in his classmates and professional concern in Aizawa.

The students react to Dreadnought based on their individual natures: Midoriya attempts to analyze his complex quirk; Bakugo feels instinctual hostility; Todoroki detects a dark, seasoned past; Uraraka finds herself flustered by his charm; and Yaoyorozu is captivated by his unique physiology. Despite his friendly exterior, there is a underlying sense that his arrival is a warning rather than a simple request for friendship.
