Highlights
This segment introduces new Hypercharges for several Brawlers. Ollie's jump now has a larger music blast area and consumes less ammo. Byron's Super fires his main attack in all directions. Firx activates an additional Super area that follows him. Jaz's Super has a reduced cooldown and boosted activations. Juju summons a larger Gris-Gris with increased stats. Meeple's Super covers a larger area, allowing teammates to pass through walls and water. Larry calls a second Lawrie bot with more damage and health. Trunk's Super leaves damage-over-time ants on enemies. Almost all Brawlers now have Hypercharges, with Pam getting hers in the next update.
New Skins from the Brawl Academy series are revealed, including Eldritch Professor Barley, Prankster Chester, and Truant Penny, along with an update for Rosa's Cheerleader Skin. Fisherman Buzz, inspired by Clash Royale, can be obtained from Supercell ID Rewards.
Streetwear Emz is the Subway Surfers Season Brawl Pass Skin, with Hypebeast Emz and Techwear Emz as her Chromas. Other new skins include Jam Master Hank and DJ Poco (the new Hypercharge Skin), along with his Chromas Scratcher Poco and Beatmatcher Poco. Upcoming collaboration skins include Jake Ollie (free during the season), Tricky Janet, Frank Byron, and Graffiti Skins for Leon, Stu, and Alli.
A new Subway Surfers collaboration is introduced, featuring Subway Surfer-inspired rewards, new 'Subway Supers,' and a new game mode called Subway Run. Players collect 'Rails' to build a Reward Track and unlock the Jake Ollie Skin, Event rewards, and 'Boom Boxes' containing cosmetics and guaranteed Subway Supers.
Eight power-ups from Subway Surfers are integrated into Brawl Stars as 'Subway Supers,' which can be activated to gain advantages. Each Super has three levels for increased power. Examples include Super Sneakers (jump over obstacles with speed boost and shield), Brawler Magnet (pull a Brawler), Hoverboard Charge (surf through obstacles), Barrier Trap (trap opponents), Jetpack (fly and attack with slowing paint), Fast Track (fire damaging tracks), Stereo Blast (musical wave that pushes and heals), and Pogo Pull (pull towards enemy or wall). These are unlocked by collecting Rails and Boom Boxes.
The collaboration spans four weeks: Week 1 features a 'Raining Coins' modifier for more coins. Week 2 is a Club Event where clubmates collect Rails to unlock rewards, including the free Graffiti Leon Skin. Week 3 introduces the new Brawler, Mina, with a release event. Week 4 features daily contests. The Subway Surfers event will be live for the duration.
Subway Run is Brawl Stars' first-ever 10-player showdown race. The goal is to cross checkpoints in order and be the first to finish. Defeating enemies provides a speed boost and sends them back to the previous checkpoint. Subway Supers are always active in this mode, and players must avoid the Guard, who hunts them down.
Brawl Stars content is also making its way to Subway Surfers, with a new game mode called Brawl Stars Showdown where players race against other Surfers. Six Brawlers (Dynamike, Piper, El Primo, Max, Poco, and Spike) can be unlocked and used as power-ups in Subway Surfers.
The early access system is replaced with a 'Brawler Release Event' for every new Brawler. These 10-day events allow players to open 'Brawler Boxes' by playing random game modes with daily tickets. Two wins grant a Brawler Box, which can contain cosmetics, progression items, or the new Brawler. A mirror match mode is available for practice. Brawlers will enter the Starr Road once the event ends if not acquired.
Mina is a new Brawler who combines Capoeira and breakdance. Her main attack, 'Capoeira Combo,' cycles through three ranged attacks, with a dash on each attack. Her Super, 'Furacão 3000,' creates a powerful hurricane that deals heavy damage and knocks up enemies in front of her. Mina will be released in her Brawler Release Event in September.
New 'Carreta Brawl Skins' are introduced, including Carreta Spike (an animatronic) and Crazy Clown Carl (inspired by a suspicious clown). Another new Brawler, Ziggy, is a theatrical magician who uses electricity. His main attack, 'Ta-Da!,' is a lightning strike that delays before dealing area damage. His Super, 'Ziggy's Fantastical Storm,' is a giant electrical storm that travels rapidly, dealing damage and slowing down when enemies are inside.
A sneak peek of the Brawl-o-ween event is given, where players collect candy for prizes ('instant trick' or 'wait for a treat') and encounter monster bosses. New spooky skins include Plague Doctor Crow (Brawl Pass Skin) with Death's Door Crow and Old Hunter Crow Chromas, Ghost Diver Rico, Vampire Aeb, Gargoyle R-T, Teen Ruffs, and Headless Tickman. Kizu Kenji, a new Chroma for Hypercharged Kenji, is also featured.
The free Brawl Pass is buffed with more Coins, Credits, and Power Points due to the removal of Brawler Mastery. Records are balanced, and new ones are added to Brawl Arena. New Trophy Road locations include Ranger Ranch, Mike's Mines, and Wild West Town. Trophy Tier Icons are replaced with new badges for tiers above 1,000, 1,200, 1,500, and 2,000 Trophies. More game modes are made permanent, and the reset time for all game modes is harmonized.
