HRIS Project Delayed Due to Pending Approvals and Budget Uncertainties

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) project, encompassing the LDRIS, is currently awaiting review and approval from the Office of the President and Chief Executive Officer (OPCEO). This approval is necessary despite ongoing finalization of the project's technical specifications.

A significant concern for the HRIS project is the potential revision of its original budget. The project had an initial allocation of PhP79 million for the year 2025. It is anticipated that a supplemental budget may be required, which itself will need approval, contributing to the project's delays.

The confluence of pending approvals, budget uncertainties, and various procurement-related activities has directly impacted the timely execution of the HRIS project. These issues have caused delays, pushing the planned implementation timeline, which was originally set for 2025, to an estimated completion in 2026.
