SpongeBob SquarePants: The Snail Plasma Incident

Neglect and Crisis

Squidward agrees to look after Gary while SpongeBob goes jellyfishing. Distracted by his own plans for a peaceful weekend, Squidward forgets to feed the snail, leaving Gary withered and weak. Upon SpongeBob's return, he panics at Gary's condition and calls a vet.

The Ill-Fated Treatment

A vet determines Gary simply needed water but provides a shot of 'snail plasma' for the pet. Both SpongeBob and Squidward are too squeamish to administer it. During their struggle to give the shot, Squidward accidentally injects the plasma into SpongeBob’s nose.

Transformation and Aftermath

Despite Squidward's insistence that he is fine, SpongeBob begins to undergo a horrific physical transformation into a snail, losing his speech, limbs, and form. The episode concludes with a terrified Squidward trying to hide from the snail-SpongeBob, only to accidentally inject himself with the remaining snail plasma.
