Highlights

Starting with the Kinder Surprise Pod
00:00:09

Begin by opening a Kinder Surprise egg, removing the pod, and emptying its contents. This pod will serve as the base for your Minion.

Creating the Goggles
00:00:16

Use a metal spring washer for the goggle frame. Flatten it with grips, apply super glue, and attach it to the pod. Then, fix a self-adhesive plastic eye of the appropriate size into position. For the goggle strap, cut an elastic band in half and super glue it to the washer.

Preparing for Legs and Dungarees
00:00:51

Make two holes in the bottom of the pod using a small screwdriver and enlarge them with pliers, ensuring they are just big enough for a drinking straw. For Minions with two eyes, use smaller washers and eyes, and color the elastic band black. To make the dungarees, apply glue to a strip of denim and attach it to the front of the pod, working around and shaping it with scissors. Fold over and stick the bottom of the denim.

Adding Hair and Limbs
00:01:57

For hair, cut a small piece of thin wire and pierce holes in the top of the pod. Cut and shape pieces of wire into hair, pushing them through the holes. To make feet and hands, carefully shape an eraser with a sharp knife. Glue drinking straws onto the feet and color them black with a marker. Repeat the process for the hands.

Assembling the Minion
00:02:45

For the arms, use a yellow pipe cleaner cut in half, remove some fluff, and push the hands onto the wire. Make holes in the side of the pod for the arms, cut them to length, and push them in, bending them as desired. Finally, push in the legs and draw a mouth to complete your Minion. An alternative hair method using string is also shown.
