Summary
Highlights
Part 100:00:00
This video presents 20 facts viewers may not know about The Book of Boba Fett. Fact 1: The Gamorrean guards' appearance is closer to George Lucas's original vision for Return of the Jedi, but the prosthetics were not good enough, so they were given chest armor. Fact 2: One of the band members plays a gitler guitar, a real 1970s guitar that never caught on. Fact 3: According to the production, all scenes with young Boba on Geonosis are original takes from 2002, except for the last over-the-shoulder shot. Fact 4: The forearmed creature Boba fights resembles the green Martians of Planet Barsoom from the John Carter series, and Tatooine is said to be inspired by that planet too. Fact 5: The robot dogs in the streets are actually Spot robots made by Boston Dynamics, generally used for data capture. Fact 6: The wreckage behind Boba as he makes his gaffi stick is based on Ralph McQuarrie's 1975 Tusken Raider painting. Fact 7: Temuera Morrison admitted that his line "like a bantha" was unscripted and has become the number one thing he is asked to sign. Fact 8: The dance at the end of Chapter 2 is similar to the haka, a Maori warrior dance, and Temuera Morrison is of Maori descent. Fact 9: During the biker chase in Chapter 3, one biker crashes into a picture of Jabba the Hutt, another Ralph McQuarrie painting that had Luke removed from it. Fact 10: When the Rodian child spots the N-1 Starfighter in space, he says "Inca Bunga," which is Huttese for "incredible."
Part 200:01:26
Fact 11: In the flashback to Geonosis, the body of the reek and any slain Jedi are completely missing; only the droids are shown on the arena ground. Fact 12: While Boba is seen in the bacta tank, he is missing the trademark Nosri breather, which would cause him to drown if he were actually sleeping. Fact 13: When Boba and the Tuskens leave to hijack the train, there are five speeders, but in the immediate next shot there are only four. Fact 14: When one of the bikers drives through the town streets, the wooden frame of the inside of one of the buildings can be seen at the bottom of the screen. Fact 15: After Cobb Vanth is gunned down by Cad Bane, his body seemingly changes positions even though he is supposed to be dead. Fact 16: The actor in Chapter 5 who plays the X-Wing pilot Lieutenant Reed was the same actor who played Luke Skywalker's double earlier in Chapter 16 of The Mandalorian. Fact 17: Dengar saying "wizard" about how the N-1 Starfighter handles is a reference to Kitster talking to Anakin after seeing his finished podracer—"This is so wizard." Fact 18: Chapter 7 is the first time since A New Hope that R2-D2 and R5-D4 share screen time, where they were purchased from the Jawas. Fact 19: The RX-24 model from the original Star Tours ride at Disney is spotted at the cantina as a gambling dealer and is accused of cheating. Fact 20: After the Tusken Raiders capture Boba Fett, they ride their banthas back to camp in single file, which is exactly what Obi-Wan says they did in A New Hope.
