The video begins by highlighting the remarkable civilization of ancient Egypt, made possible by the blessings of its gods. It then transitions into a sponsored message for Endel, an app designed to improve focus, relaxation, and sleep through personalized soundscapes.
The creation myth starts with a chaotic ocean called Nun. From these waters, a pyramidal mound emerged, topped by a lotus flower. When the lotus blossomed, it unfurled a bright light, revealing Ra, the sun god. Ra, alone, then begot the first generation of gods: Shu (god of air) and Tefnut (goddess of rain).
Shu and Tefnut explored the primordial waters, causing Ra distress. When Hathor finally found them, Ra's joy resulted in tears that gave birth to human beings. Subsequently, Shu and Tefnut's descendants, Geb (god of the earth) and Nut (goddess of the sky), were born, thus creating heaven and earth.
Ra ruled the universe as the first pharaoh, gifting Egypt sacred animals and, most importantly, the River Nile, around which civilization would flourish. However, as Ra aged, men began to worship the serpent Apophis, angering Ra. He sent the lioness goddess Sekhmet to punish humanity. Ra eventually retired to his solar boat, traversing the skies by day and facing Apophis in the underworld by night, with each sunrise marking his victory over darkness.
Nut and Geb gave birth to a powerful offspring: Isis, Nephthys, Seth, and Osiris. They were destined to govern the world while Ra reigned in the heavens. Osiris took over Ra's earthly throne, leading humanity to civilization. However, his brother Seth coveted the power, foreshadowing the beginning of the saga of the gods of Egypt.
