Sing (2016) | The Auditions Scene - Who Makes the Cut?

Mr. Moon discovers a massive queue of animals waiting to audition for his show. He excitedly instructs Miss Crawley to open the theater doors, initiating a chaotic but enthusiastic start to the auditions.

Various animals showcase their singing talents, from a lab technician with a powerful voice to a confident pig declaring his intention to win. Many animals are quickly dismissed, while others, like the talented gorilla Johnny, make a strong impression.

Meena, a shy elephant, struggles with extreme stage fright, unable to sing when it's her turn. Despite encouragement, she leaves the stage without performing, highlighting the emotional challenges of the competition.

The auditions continue with more diverse acts, including a powerful rendition of 'Firework'. After all the acts, Buster Moon calls everyone back to the stage for the final selection process.

Buster Moon begins making tough decisions. He selects a promising porcupine named Ash, but not her accompanying band. He also picks the talented mouse Mike and the energetic pig Gunter. He nearly misses Johnny, who is about to leave, but calls him back.

Rosita, a pig with a great voice but a 'boring' stage presence, is partnered with the flamboyant Gunter to 'spice things up'. The final chosen cast is set, and the auditions conclude.
