Islamic Animation : THE BRIDGE / Al-Shirath

The Path to Judgment00:00:00

The video begins by describing a path that is 'gentler than the silken thread yet keener than the edge of the sword'. This path is a fateful bridge stretched thin above the ocean of Hell, with flames beckoning below.

Deeds Determine Fate00:00:47

It is stated that on the Day of Promise, neither wealth nor beauty will avail, and only one's deeds shall determine their fate. Every step on the bridge is a mirror, revealing the hidden secrets within a person's heart, whether it be obligations fulfilled or prostrations forsaken.

A child's voice pleads with their father, asking him to stop doing something and to be forgiven, making his path easy. The child later asks what the father is doing with his money and asks 'who are they?', followed by the child asking 'please don't cry daddy, you can do it'.
