Nick Minef, a renowned NASCAR driver, wakes up in Hollywood and is immediately recognized by a fan, "Pice," who asks for his help finding a missing truck and car. Pice then invites Minef to a street race, an invitation Minef initially declines due to his views on street racing's lack of rules and danger. However, Pice successfully convinces him to join for a couple of hours before a commercial shoot.
Upon arriving at the street race, Pice introduces Minef to his friends, including Vítor, who recognizes Minef from his NASCAR days. Vítor highlights the unique culture of street racing, explaining that it's a place for cars not accepted in professional circuits to find their chance, featuring everything from classic cars to hot rods. He assures Minef that the community is excited about his presence, despite the constant threat of the police.
Minef finds out his rival, Herb, is also at the street race, having come to Hollywood for a drive but getting drawn into the racing scene. The two prepare to race, much to the excitement of the crowd, who begin recording the showdown between the "two legends of racing." Minef, though admitting to being rusty, manages to win the race, much to his surprise and newfound enjoyment of street racing.
The celebration is cut short by the arrival of the police, causing panic among the racers. Minef learns that as NASCAR drivers, they don't have the right to race on the streets. As everyone attempts to flee, the police identify Minef, stating that a live stream of the event implicated him in the illegal street race. Minef, along with others, faces the consequences of their participation.
