Reverend Lisa Barnett, founder of the Akashic Knowing School and author of four books on Akashic Records, is introduced. With over 30 years of experience, she helps individuals access their soul wisdom, heal trauma, release karma, and understand soul contracts. She is about to explain what Akashic Records are.

Lisa explains Akashic Records as the recording of a soul's journey across all time and space, like an 'etheric library' in the cloud. It contains every experience from every lifetime on this planet and other realms, managed by personal record keepers or 'librarians'.

Lisa discusses the 'soul plan,' a valuable gift created before each embodiment. Souls choose to return to Earth, often to be of service, help others, and for personal growth. This plan includes numerous soul contracts with parents, siblings, partners, and friends, some supporting each other and others involving karma.

Soul contracts are agreements made to learn specific lessons. For example, being born to an alcoholic parent is not a random act but part of a soul's plan to work through issues related to alcoholism or addiction. Souls often experience both sides of a pattern (e.g., being the alcoholic and the child of an alcoholic) over many lifetimes.

Souls gather with their soul family (thousands of souls met across lifetimes) before embodying to collaboratively write their life plans and contracts. These discussions occur energetically, as there is no time or space in the quantum field. Contracts can be for various relationships and life events, including adoption.

Accessing Akashic Records helps individuals understand their sole purpose and why they are in their current life. Lisa teaches people to do this work for themselves but also offers readings and quantum healings. She provides an example of a client who used Akashic Records to understand his soul contracts regarding marriage, family, and business decisions after a spiritual awakening.

Soul contracts are not always lifelong. Given longer lifespans and mobile societies, individuals often have numerous contracts. A contract can become null and void if one party doesn't uphold their side, such as an alcoholic parent not engaging in their healing. In such cases, the other party is free to move on.
