This video introduces how to turn regular coloring pens into a rainbow pen. The rainbow pen will display a spectrum of colors, from red through to violet, as you draw.
A rainbow consists of seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. By transferring colors between pen tips, certain colors like orange and green will be created automatically, reducing the need for all individual colors. The main colors needed are violet, blue, yellow, and red.
Begin with the violet pen (thick tip). Hold the blue pen's tip against the violet pen's tip for at least ten seconds to transfer color. Repeat this process with the yellow pen, then finally with the red pen, holding for a few seconds. This creates a pen that transitions from red to violet.
Once the color transfer is complete, test the pen on paper. As you draw, the color will gradually change from red, through orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, to violet. The pen can be recharged repeatedly.
You can also create a rainbow pen that transitions the opposite way (violet to red) by starting with a red base pen and transferring yellow, blue, and then violet. The technique works on both thin and thick pen tips. This provides endless possibilities for drawing rainbow lines, writing, and creating unique color combinations.
To clean any contamination from your pens, simply keep drawing with them or wipe them with a piece of kitchen paper.
