Summary
Highlights
Start by positioning the tie with the narrow end higher than the wide end. Cross both ends to form an 'X', with the wide end going over the top. Hold the center of the 'X' and bring the wide end behind it, ensuring the back of the tie faces outwards.
Take the wide end, bring it up, and thread it down through the opening created. Pull it snug but not too tight. A knot should begin to form, with the back of the wide end still facing outwards.
Place your forefinger on the forming knot. Bring the wide end across the front, drop it, pick it up from behind, and thread it up through the opening. The forefinger creates a 'tunnel' for the wide end to thread through and pull down.
For a perfect triangular shape, pinch the bottom of the knot and pull the top parts apart to make it symmetrical. Hold the narrow end and slide the knot up, adjusting as needed.
