Two updated resources, 'Best Practices for Accessible AA Meetings' and 'Creating Accessible Flyers, Emails, and Documents,' are available. An accessibility workshop, 'Our Shared Journey: Voices on Unity and Recovery,' is scheduled for June 28, 2026, offering personal stories and practical ideas. The Accessibilities Committee meets virtually on the fourth Monday of each month.

Archives Committee Update

Heather L., Archivist, reported significant progress in May with space now available following a wall repair and delivery of filing cabinets. Eileen was thanked for her assistance. The committee will not meet the last Friday in June but has a virtual meeting on June 20th. The next physical meeting on July 25th will focus on organization and planning.

Board of Directors and Committee Reports

Mike S., Board of Directors Chair, expressed hope that members appreciate the new meeting room's inviting atmosphere. He announced that $20,000 in bequests received in 2025 funded the new meeting room's transformation, with painting, tables, and chairs costing $9,387. Founders Day and General Service Conference Updates

Shawn F., General Service/Intergroup Liaison, reported on the 76th General Service Conference, noting that Grapevine's request to collect funds from the fellowship did not pass, and the fifth edition of Alcoholics Anonymous was approved for publication. The 'Everything AA App' was purchased by AA. He also announced the Annual Service Festival on October 24th, Mt. Charleston picnic on August 16th, and a District 7 service workshop on June 27th.

Gratitude Ball and Hospitals & Institutions

Amanda L., Gratitude Ball Chair, is organizing the event for September 19th at Westgate Resort, with tickets priced at $79 before July 15th and $89 after. Chris R. from Sacramento will be the speaker, and service positions are open. Dave S. (Loriann P.), Hospitals & Institutions Chair, reported plans for approximately 300 panels monthly in detox centers, treatment centers, jails, and prisons. The Nevada Southern Detention Center has formally requested H&I panels. The committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the Central Office, with orientation for new members at 5:30 PM. Contributions should no longer be sent via Zelle until July 1, 2026, and can be made in person or by mail.

Hotline, Las Vegas Round-Up, and Outreach

Jim Sowatzki, Hotline Chair, noted the 24/7 hotline service and encouraged volunteers to contact him. Betty, Las Vegas Round-Up Co-Chair, announced that registration is open for the November 26-29 event at the Plaza Hotel, with early registration discounts, banquet/breakfast tickets, and activities like Pickleball, Walk/Run, and Golf. Pre-purchase of t-shirts and coffee mugs is available via www.lvroundup.com. Bryan F., Outreach Committee / Unity Chair, introduced himself as an alcoholic and the Las Vegas Unity committee chair. He offers presentations to groups and districts on helping the still-suffering and newcomer alcoholics through various service opportunities. He is scheduled to give a Unity presentation to the 'Sharing and Caring' group in Mesquite, Nevada, on July 18th.

Katherine Z., Silver Streak (SLVRSTRK) Chair, expressed gratitude for contributions to the monthly newsletter. Subscribers now have the option to 'view' or 'download' the Silver Streak as a PDF.
