Police Report: Emergency Detention Incident at Stone Meadow Ln

On January 19, 2026, Officer A. Emery responded to a residence at 5516 Stone Meadow Ln following a report of a suicide attempt by sixteen-year-old Tamiyah Hurd.

The caller, Shantadria Prelow, reported a verbal argument with her daughter, Tamiyah. During the call to 911, Tamiyah ingested 15 pills of Buspirone and 15 pills of Clonidine. Tamiyah has a documented history of mental health struggles, including Oppositional Defiant Disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and a prior suicide attempt.

Tamiyah admitted to Officer E. Perez that she took the pills to harm herself. Officer Emery determined she was an imminent danger to herself and placed her under an emergency mental health detention. She was transported by EMS to JPS Hospital for treatment and released to medical personnel.
