QA Basic and Advanced Curriculum

Testing evaluates software quality, and QA engineers perform this. QA automation engineers automate these tasks. SDETs (Software Development Engineers in Test) are involved in both development and testing, designing testing tools and frameworks.

Web applications consist of a front-end and a back-end. Testing includes web testing (front-end using Java and Selenium), API testing (interface between front-end and back-end using Java and Rest Assured), database testing (back-end database using Java and JDBC), and performance testing (load testing using JMeter).

Cryo's learning journey is divided into 4-week Sprints, covering specific technologies and projects. The curriculum features Foundations, Automation Testing, Data Structure and Algorithm (DSA), SDET, and Interview Preparation Sprints.

There are three Foundation Sprints covering programming basics, Java concepts, and object-oriented programming. Six QA Automation Sprints focus on web automation with Java and Selenium, API/performance testing, and frameworks like Apache POI, Extend Reports, and Page Object Model.

Five DSA Sprints cover basic to advanced data structures and algorithms, solving over 250 problems. Three SDET Sprints focus on backend testing, cloud, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, database, and Kafka testing. One Interview Preparation Sprint includes mock interviews and practice questions. The journey is personalized based on individual goals and skill levels.
