Highlights
This video is part three of the XP guide series for Hunter's Origin, focusing on XP bonuses. All XP bonuses are additive and, with few exceptions, only increase XP gained from monsters.
There are four permanent XP bonuses that affect your entire account. VIP grants 25% more XP from all sources. Leveling the trainer NPC provides an XP bonus from killing monsters, and, despite the in-game text, currently boosts all XP gains. Map mastery increases XP from monsters on a specific map, and account mastery gives 3% more XP from monsters for all characters for each character that reaches max level. These are passive bonuses and not meant for active grinding.
Temporary XP bonuses last 30 minutes, affect only one character, and increase XP from killing monsters. The timer pauses when offline or playing another character. These include Priest's blessing (+10% XP), XP tokens (+10% XP), precious experience potions (+40% XP), and the rare 'creator's blessing' (+25% XP from game masters in town). All four can stack for a total of +85% XP.
The best time to use temporary XP bonuses is when you've run out of quests and need to grind to the next level. Avoid using them during map challenges (especially Hard and Very Hard difficulties) because the bonus is calculated from base XP, making it proportionally much smaller in higher difficulties. Also, do not use them while doing quests that involve walking or talking to NPCs, as this wastes valuable buff time.
