Professional Development for Teachers at Joyful Learning and SSA/SRM Schools

Five teachers from Joyful Learning successfully completed an 8-day blended professional development program through the DOT Learning Circles partnership. This program included four days of online sessions in April and four days of intensive offline workshops at Ramco Schools Training Centres in Ariyalur and R.R. Nagar. The training enhanced teachers' knowledge in systematic phonics instruction, the scientific process of children's learning, activity-based mathematics, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) integration, classroom facilitation, and child-centred pedagogical practices, preparing them for the new academic year.

A half-day Boot-Up Workshop was conducted by Ms. Kanimozhi on June 8th for ten pre-primary teachers from SSA and SRM Schools. The workshop aimed to establish a shared vision and goals for the upcoming academic year. Key areas covered included teaching and learning methods, classroom environment, English communication, parent relationships, professional development, and self-care for mindful growth.
