The video introduces an updated guide for the Recycler in Fortnite Save the World due to recent changes. Previously, players could place the Base anywhere, but now the Recycler will only work if placed during an active mission, such as War Games, Endurance, or a Storm Shield Defense.
The video presents three compact build designs: one for metal only, one for metal and brick, and a larger design for all three materials (metal, brick, and wood). These designs are optimized for maximum material recovery.
The metal-only build utilizes 74-75 tier 3 metal structures to yield 150 metal every 60 seconds. The structure consists of a 3x3 floor, 3x3 cones, 24 walls on the ground level, another 3x3 floor on top, and an additional 24 walls for a total of 75 structures.
The video demonstrates the Recycler in action during an Endurance mission. It shows how to place the Base during an active mission and verifies that each build successfully collects 150 of the respective materials (metal, metal and stone, or all three) within a minute.
The Recycler is a constructor team perk that generates resources from effective structures. Every 60 seconds, it produces materials, storing up to 1000 of each. Players need approximately 75 tier 3 structures of a material to generate the maximum 150 units per minute.
The guide demonstrates building the metal-only structure: a 3x3 metal floor, then 3x3 metal cones, followed by arched walls placed around the perimeter. A second 3x3 floor is added on top, with more walls configured as corner pieces and low walls for efficiency.
To add brick collection, the existing top walls are modified to arches, and a layer of brick cones and brick floors is added above the metal structure. More arched brick walls are placed on this new layer, followed by another brick floor with low walls on top.
For wood collection, wood cones are placed around the outside of the second-highest floor, leaving the center clear for the Base. Pillars are added to the central sections of the bottom floor, followed by wood balconies. More pillars are added on the next level, and then more balconies with corner pieces, ensuring comprehensive coverage for all three materials.
