Summary
Standardizing Entrepreneurship Training for Rural Development
Highlights
Capacity building for Community Resource Persons for Enterprise Promotion (CRPs-EP) is crucial for fostering entrepreneurship ecosystems. Significant effort has been dedicated to creating a systematic training process to meet their needs.
To standardize training tools for the Startup Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP), the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) tasked Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation (NRO) with this responsibility. This standardization aims to enable State Rural Livelihoods Missions (SRLMs) nationwide to utilize consistent training materials.
Kudumbashree NRO has a history of supporting NRLM's entrepreneurship activities, having been involved in both the MEC and SVEP projects, making them well-suited to lead the standardization effort.
