Summary
Highlights
The four friends begin their challenge, bound at the waist with bungee cords. Their first task is to complete monkey bars, which proves difficult due to their interconnectedness. They eventually 'complete' it by walking across a higher section of the playground. Next, they need a football to complete 20 one-touch, one-bounce passes. They search through Greenwich Market, a foot tunnel, and a mall before finalmente finding a football at Canary Wharf (after being kicked out of the mall). They easily complete the football challenge and then successfully recruit a 'fifth member' (Brandon) for five minutes at a pub, completing their final task for the round.
For the second round, the friends are tied together at the hands with rope, limiting their coordination. Their challenges include lifting 1,000 kg at a gym, buying outfits for each other at a charity shop, and using four different modes of transportation. They take an Uber to the gym and manage to lift the required weight through a combination of dumbbell presses and pull-ups. They then take a train to a charity shop where they each pick out a funny hat/accessory for each other. They attempt a Lime Bike, then decide on a bus for their third mode of transport.
The final round sees the group duct-taped together at the wrists. They complete their fourth mode of transport by taking an Uber boat. Their first challenge of this round is a boat race (drinking a beverage), which proves messy due to their restricted movement. After this, they go to the O2 to play a football challenge, where they have to score several goals, showcasing their teamwork despite their binding. Their final task is to get a hole-in-one at mini golf. After several attempts and a lot of struggles, they manage to get a hole-in-one, finally earning their freedom.
