Highlights
The study will be field-oriented, utilizing field surveys, face-to-face interviews, observations, and participations during religious and social events. Data collection will involve both primary data from active informants and secondary data from passive bearers and published materials. Questionnaires, including open-ended and closed-ended questions, will be used, and the Likert Scale methodology will be employed to gather respondent views.
The researcher, being a native of the Bodo society and actively involved in its social and religious events, will leverage this insider perspective to gather comprehensive knowledge. The study aims to provide solutions and recommend ways to preserve the traditional belief system for contemporary Bodo society.
