Iran Targets The 'Eyes' Of The US Military: Pentagon Scrambles As Screens Go Black | GRAVITAS

A New Phase of Warfare in West Asia00:00:00

The conflict in West Asia is evolving, with Iran employing drones and missiles to target the critical radar systems of American and Israeli forces. These radar systems are essential for guiding missile defense, and their compromise effectively blinds air defense capabilities.

Iran's Strategy: Overwhelming and Blinding00:01:12

Iran's strategy involves launching waves of low-cost drones at US military positions and allied defense sites. These drones are designed to overwhelm radar operators, act as decoys to expend expensive interceptor missiles, and then pave the way for real strike weapons. Over 10 US military bases have been targeted.

Impact on US and Israeli Defense Networks00:01:49

Defense assessments indicate that Iranian missiles have successfully hit and destroyed multiple radar installations linked to US and Israeli defense networks, with nearly 10 radar systems reportedly knocked out. This deliberate strategy aims to blind America's eyes across West Asia, creating gaps for ballistic missiles and drones to penetrate if radar coverage collapses.
