Summary
Highlights
Dr. Robotnik expresses frustration with his incompetent robots, Scratch and Grounder. A slick salesman, Wes Weasley, arrives, introducing himself as representing "Handy Dandy Super Villain Appliance Distributors Limited." He offers the 'Darkinator' to catch Sonic, which plunges the area into darkness, causing chaos among Robotnik and his bots.
Despite the Darkinator's failure, Weasley returns, convincing Robotnik to buy the 'Freezebanger.' This device is designed to freeze Sonic, but Sonic manages to turn the tables, using the heat from the frozen robots to melt them, much to Robotnik's dismay.
Undeterred, Weasley introduces the 'Super Duper Gravity Stopper,' which eliminates gravity. Robotnik and his robots use it against Sonic and Tails, making them float uncontrollably. However, Sonic realizes he can be towed by Tails in zero gravity, turning their capture into an escape opportunity. The robots, in their stupidity, agree to shut off the machine, causing everyone to fall back to the ground.
Weasley returns with the 'Atomizer,' meant to make Sonic disappear. During a confrontation with Sonic and Tails, Robotnik's robots accidentally press a red button on the Atomizer. Instead of making Sonic disappear, it clones him, creating havoc and ultimately leading to multiple Sonics chasing the robots.
After Weasley's constant failures, his superior, Sid Sharkly, arrives to introduce a new, combined device: the 'Hedgehog Catching Vanquisher.' This mega-gadget combines the Darkinator, Freezebanger, and Gravity Stopper. Predictably, it backfires spectacularly, trapping Robotnik, Scratch, and Grounder in a block of ice, leaving Sonic and Tails victorious.
