Willis the wolf approaches Curly's straw house, demanding to be let in. When Curly refuses, the wolf huffs and puffs and easily blows down the straw house, chasing Curly away.
The story begins with the three little pigs, Curly, Chunky, and Pinky, leaving their mother to explore the world and build their own homes. Curly builds a house of straw, Chunky builds a house of sticks, and Pinky, the most diligent, builds a strong house of bricks.
Chunky, seeing Curly flee from the wolf, hurries into his stick house. The wolf then attempts to blow down Chunky's house. Despite Chunky's refusal, the wolf successfully blows down the stick house, continuing his pursuit.
Curly and Chunky arrive at Pinky's brick house, with the wolf close behind. Pinky, who is on the roof, quickly slides down the chimney to join his brothers inside. The wolf, unable to blow down the sturdy brick house, decides to climb onto the roof to enter through the chimney.
Pinky, with a clever idea, instructs his brothers to fill a pot with water and place it over a hot fire in the fireplace. When Willis the wolf slides down the chimney, he falls directly into the boiling pot, getting burned. He promises to leave them alone and flees, never to return.
After the wolf's departure, Pinky helps his brothers build new, strong houses of brick. When their mother visits, she is proud of their beautiful, secure homes, emphasizing the importance of building wisely.
