Highlights
The third term examinations for all students were successfully conducted from April 9 to April 16, 2026, with active participation in both Formative and Summative Assessments. Following the exams, summer vacation commenced on April 17, extending until June 10, during which teachers engaged in academic planning. Admissions for the 2026–2027 academic year began on April 20, supported by outreach and promotional activities. A 'Mom and Merry Kids Carnival' was held on April 25 as part of the admission drive, attracting children aged 3 to 8 with various engaging activities and significantly contributing to student enrollment. Additionally, 30 Grade 5 students completed their studies, with 21 (70%) transitioning to SRM Higher Secondary School.
In May, the school adopted Oxford Publications textbooks for Grades 3 to 5, aligning with the National Curriculum Framework to enhance teaching quality. The Oxford Education team conducted a training program for primary teachers on integrating digital tools. Teachers also dedicated 15 working days during vacation to academic planning and classroom preparation. The annual Teachers’ Training Programme (TTT) for 2026–2027 began on May 27, focusing on effective methodologies and assessment practices. Furthermore, the school introduced Pinktum online professional development courses, enrolling 12 new teachers and assigning advanced courses to existing staff. A new school uniform pattern was approved for Grades 1 to 5 and Kindergarten, scheduled for implementation in July 2026.
Following the summer break, Senior KG to Grade 5 reopened on June 11, 2026, with a traditional prayer ceremony and sweets for students. Junior KG classes commenced on June 17, completing the school's reopening for all grades. By the end of June, the school recorded 40 new student admissions for the 2026–2027 academic year. During the same period, 31 students received Transfer Certificates, and 6 students discontinued their education.
