Highlights
Eric begins his quest for $500,000 by entering a burning building to retrieve money bags. Despite being engulfed in flames and catching fire himself, he successfully salvages $250,000 before the building collapses.
For the second challenge, Eric must jump across a chasm into flaming water to grab a bag of money. He chooses to risk a further jump for $300,000 instead of the safer $150,000 or his current $250,000, successfully securing the $300,000.
Eric's third challenge involves being shot out of a human cannon. He can either land in a safe yellow ring to keep his $300,000 or land in a ring of fire for an additional $50,000. He uses three stunt doubles to calibrate the cannon and successfully lands in the ring of fire, increasing his prize to $350,000, motivated by his desire to provide for his parents.
In the fourth trap, Eric has five minutes to use a grappling hook to retrieve money bags from a room filled with fireworks before a flaming meteor crashes into it. He initially had $350,000, with a chance to win an extra $50,000, bringing the total to $400,000. Despite difficulties and losing time, he manages to save a portion of the money, leaving him with $300,000 after $100,000 explodes.
Eric returns to the burning room from the first challenge, chained up as fire engulfs the room and money. He is offered freedom if he praises MrBeast's new Jack Link's beef sticks. He compliments the product, is freed, and saves his $300,000.
For the sixth trap, Eric and his best friend Pat are chained together and must climb a 50-foot tower to collect six bags of money, with an extra $50,000 at the top. If either falls, Eric loses everything. They successfully retrieve all the money, increasing his prize fund to $350,000.
The final challenge is an elaborate obstacle course with five stages, to be completed in under 1 minute and 5 seconds. It includes being shot from a cannon, jumping through flaming rings, dodging swinging hammers, swimming under fire, and running through a hall of flames to grab his money before it burns. Thanks to intermittent safe zones that pause the timer, Eric navigates the dangerous course, pushing through exhaustion and minor setbacks. He puts on a fireproof suit for the final stage, running through a hall of flames to retrieve his $350,000.
