Highlights
The special program kicks off with voice actors Zach Aguilar (Aether), Ashleigh Haddad (Nefer), Nic Olsen (Flins), and Alejandro Saab (Cyno) introducing Genshin Impact Version Luna II, titled "An Elegy for Faded Moonlight." They express excitement about the intense trailer and the upcoming confrontation with Rerir, one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah, highlighting his formidable power and the Damselette's weakened state.
Nefer, a mysterious and elegant character with Sumeru origins, is introduced. As the head of the Curatorium of Secrets, she deals in intel, exchanging stories for information. Her extensive network spans across Teyvat, with contacts in Mondstadt, Sumeru, Liyue, and Nod-Krai, including Yelan and Dori. Her combat skills involve a Dendro Moon Wheel, utilizing Verdant Dew for Lunar-Bloom reactions, dashing with her Elemental Skill to enter Shadow Dance, and summoning shades for coordinated attacks. Her Elemental Burst deals AoE Dendro DMG, scaling with absorbed Seeds of Deceit, and she can bring back bonus rewards from 20-hour Expeditions in Nod-Krai.
The first half of Version Luna II will feature event wishes for Nefer and Furina, alongside a new 5-star Catalyst, "Reliquary of Truth," and three Nod-Krai specific 4-star weapons, including "Moonweaver's Dawn" from a previous World Quest. The second half will see returning event wishes for Arlecchino and Zhongli.
The Archon Quest will bring new allies to face Rerir, including Grand Master Varka, who returns from northern Nod-Krai, and "The Knave," Fourth of the Fatui Harbingers. Marionette will also contribute by analyzing past encounters and redesigning the Design Bureau into a combat zone. The discussion emphasizes the immense power of the Five Sinners, stating they are no longer human and each is strong enough to challenge the entire world. Travelers can earn Primogems and Nefer's level-up materials by completing the Archon Quest within a certain time or by challenging a creature on Hiisi Island.
Version Luna II introduces more stories in Silvermoon Hall, where Travelers can assist the Damselette for rewards and gain the 'Blessing of the Moon Goddess.' "Selenic Chronicles: Part II" offers new artwork and an exclusive namecard. A quest involving Mimisbrunnr Books' 'investment portfolio' will allow Travelers to uncover the truth behind the scheme. Quality-of-life updates include automatic targeting for the nearest mining site at blacksmiths.
"Ruins Exploration: Fieldwise Center" in Sumeru's desert involves Layla and others experiencing strange mental effects after falling into an ancient ruin. "Skillful Scouting" sees Collei and Amber as consultants for a new Akademiya branch, using scouting devices to collect Adventure Coins. Madam Faruzan contributes to "Mechanical Puzzle-Parsing Paradigm," guiding a Puzzlepal with elemental effects. "Safe Engagement Training," assessed by Dehya and Candace, prepares students for monster encounters, offering rewards and the chance to invite Collei to the lineup. "Dance Dance Dynamic Disco" in Natlan allows Travelers to team up and dance, while "Saurian Sojourn" focuses on navigating obstacles with saurian companions. Overflowing Abundance will offer Talent and Weapon Ascension Materials, and Genius Invokation TCG receives new Character and Action Cards, along with returning Forge Realm's Temper and Heated Battle Mode.
The highly anticipated "Genshin Impact: Miliastra Wonderland" is introduced, an in-game world players can shape themselves. Accessible via the Paimon Menu or quick access button, it's created by the mysterious Mage O, Octavia, connected to the Hexenzirkel. Travelers awaken male and female "Manekins" whose appearance can be freely customized (clothes, accessories, hair, facial features) and projected into Teyvat. Access to Miliastra Wonderland is granted after completing the Archon Quest Prologue: "The Outlander Who Caught the Wind."
Outfits for Manekins can be obtained through various methods: the "Chronicle" (similar to a battle pass), crafting with "Lustrous Materials" and "Catalogs" from the Standard Ode banner, and limited-time Event Ode banners with themes (Version Luna II's theme is "Phantom Night Candlelight" with the "Candlelit Revelry" set). Outfit gifting is also available for friends with a high enough Rapport level, and items can be purchased directly from the in-game store. Quests like "Invitation to Wonderland: A Curious Awakening" and "Explore Wonderlands" reward "Geodes of Replication" (currency for Catalogs) and a sailor-style outfit. Increasing Wonderland Level also provides Geodes of Replication and new Lobby skin templates.
Manekins can be included in Teyvat's adventuring lineup, with elemental abilities linked to the Traveler's Elemental type, and their character level corresponds to the Wonderland Level (no materials needed for ascension, Acquaint Fates earned). Their appearance switches to a preset outfit during Elemental Skills/Bursts. The "Wonderland Lobby" allows Manekins to connect with others in public or private spaces (customizable layout and music). Players can explore diverse "Wonderland Stages" created by others, including management sims, party games, PvP battles, and adventure challenges. The "Miliastra Sandbox" editing tool allows creation of custom stages without coding, offering extensive features, assets, and the ability to mix and match character skills. Templates and an "Academy" with tutorials are available to help creators, and outstanding stages can be featured to a wider audience.
The "Miliastra Wonderland Inspiration Incentive Plan" allows creators to earn based on their stage's popularity, with long-term earnings for continuously popular stages. Version Luna IV will introduce the "Miliastra Wonderland Bounty of Ingenuity Plan" for additional earnings from detailed gameplay experiences, offering the chance for double earnings. The segment showcases examples of player-created stages and interviews with designers about their motivations.
Genshin Impact's first Nod-Krai OST album, "Outside It Is Growing Dark," will feature original tracks, including "Nod-Krai" and "To Light the Aeon Dark." The hosts conclude by expressing excitement for the Archon Quest, the Curatorium of Secrets message board, and the new features in Miliastra Wonderland, encouraging players to explore and enjoy Version Luna II.
