Dexter uses his technology to manipulate phone calls and alter his voice to sound more appealing to Lisa. Despite his elaborate schemes and scientific knowledge, his plans face complications, eventually leading to him meeting an older boy named Jeff.
Struggling with persistent nightmares that interfere with his daily focus, Dexter invents a 'Dream Machine' to manifest pleasant imagery. He instructs Dee Dee to monitor him and press an ejector button if he slips into a nightmare.
