A Father's Love and Revenge

A man, recently released from prison, seeks out his daughter, Xiaoying, after many years. He confronts her abusive husband and faces hostility from her in-laws, revealing a past marked by violence and imprisonment. He vows to provide Xiaoying with 10 billion yuan as compensation.

The man confronts Xiaoying's adoptive family, the Lynns, about their mistreatment of her. He is revealed to be a murderer, and tensions escalate as he vows to protect Xiaoying from further harm, leading to physical altercations and accusations of ingratitude and mistreatment. He is kicked out of the Lynn's residence.

Xiaoying is hospitalized due to gastritis, and her father promises to take care of her, despite not having any money with him. He reminisces about past wrongdoings against Xiaoying's mother out of regret.. He plans to retrieve 100 million UN from Luji, who was supposed to care for her.

The man confronts Luji about the 100 million UN he entrusted to him for Xiaoying's care, revealing that Xiaoying was mistreated despite the money. He forces Luji to return 10 million UN which is all that remains, and faces resistance from Luji's wife. The confrontation turns violent.

The man arrives at the hospital with the money, but is met with hostility from the Lynn family, who accuse him of robbery and violence. He defends Xiaoying and asserts his role as her protector, leading to a family rules session where the mother is whipped. Accusations with regards to the death of Xiaoying's mother surface..

The man gets entangled with Mimoto, and is subsequently targeted by him in the name of past sins, and is also confronted with the head of the security office by an accusation of having robbed 10M yuan which he easily disproves. The parties work out an arrangement to get at each other, revealing motives of mutual exploitation to attain goals.

The story escalates as the parties gather armed forces at a dinner function. The man is revealed to have secretly and unexpectedly held power as the head of a special force called Shinji Hall which immediately reverses his situation after previously being outmatched. Loyalties are affirmed while enmities lead to deaths.

Amid the chaos, the protagonist reveals his true position in Shinji Hall, securing release of targeted groups. Another character is accused of betraying state secrets leading to conflict between the main parties. Miiamoto Yun's crimes catch up as forces are called in to arrest. The scales are evened, and the evil Miiamoto seeks an ultimate escape.

Despite the odds, a reversal of fortune occurs while additional players with even higher power contribute to tipping the scales. Miiamoto is ultimately outmaneuvered by the protagonist despite having powerful reinforcements from multiple fronts, and suffers complete and utter defeat. All that served Miiamoto eventually betrayed him and joined the protagonist's cause.

Enemies are given a decision between life and death by transferring equity; with most electing to obey. An agreement between the protagonist and Lynn Wei is finalized, but retribution is enforced by proxy on the primary abusers under extreme pressure from the protagonist's daughter Xiaoying. The protagonist remains conflicted between affection for Xiaoying and retribution out of spite.

The protagonist spares Lynn Wei's daughter given the daughter's pleas, but vows to still be vengeful for past sins involving Miiamoto's family and influence over his life; which involves dealing with the sins of his deceased ex-wife through various means. There is a final reveal of plot lines regarding the death of a key character from decades past which adds a dimension to later story decision making.

As a wedding is about to begin marking a potential new arc in the protagonist's journey, the antagonist reemerges. In an expected turn, the daughter attempts to kill the father but is quickly subdued. A final series of confrontations and plot reveals occur which lead to a complete reversal of the situation as the good outnumbers the evil and eventually win to a satisfying ending. The father and daughter move on from trauma with potential for future familial happiness.
