I Built an Instagram Bot: What Happened?

Protecting the main account is the top priority. The system was designed to be intentionally slow, performing few actions per day, avoiding repeated visits to the same account, and incorporating random delays and small mistakes to mimic human behavior. The bot is manually triggered and does not run continuously, emphasizing that accounts are destroyed by speed, not by bots inherently.

The bot did not significantly increase follower growth, but it led to substantial increases in likes, comments, and profile visits. Direct messages also started to appear. Crucially, the main account remained clean with no warnings, restrictions, or shadow bans, though the test account experienced some soft bans during development due to incorrect settings.

The biggest misconception is that bots grow accounts. Bots merely "knock on the door," and it's the quality of the profile, content, and story that makes people stay. The creator advises against using bots if the account is new, has an empty profile, weak content, or if looking for fast growth, as bots will likely destroy such accounts faster if the content isn't compelling.

The system is still running with the same settings, with possible future optimizations. The creator concludes that Instagram bots are not magic but can be effective tools for increasing visibility when used carefully and intelligently, without being destructive.
