The Drying River

In a small African village, a young boy named Koffi noticed that the village's river was slowly drying up, causing distress among the villagers whose crops depended on its water.

Seeking Wisdom from the Baobab

Determined to find a solution, Koffi sought advice from the ancient baobab tree, known as 'the Ancestors' Tree', which legend said held all the world's secrets. A deep voice from the tree instructed him to 'Follow the wind's song to the red hill'.

Discovering the Obstruction

Koffi followed the instruction, and after hours of walking, he reached the red hill. There, he discovered that a landslide had blocked the source feeding the river.

Saving the Village

He quickly returned to inform the villagers. Together, they removed the rocks and branches, allowing the water to flow again. The river regained its strength, the fields turned green, and the village was saved.

The True Secret

From that day, Koffi understood that the baobab's true secret wasn't magic, but wisdom: difficult problems are often solved through courage, observation, and mutual aid.
