The family is on a road trip, and Papa is eager to get back on the road. Cricket and Tilly, however, want to grab a snack from Truck-ee's before they depart, as they've heard it has the best road trip food.
Dad gives Tilly five dollars for a snack, but Cricket asserts himself as the 'chooser' and 'decider.' Tilly claims she was asked first and demands to decide. Dad eventually gives Tilly the power to choose the perfect road trip snack.
Inside Truck-ee's, Cricket is excited by the selection and suggests 'flippy flaps.' Tilly, however, wants to take her time weighing her options before deciding, which frustrates Cricket, who reminds her that they need to hurry.
Tilly, unable to make a decision with Cricket in her ear, devises a plan. She distracts Cricket by making him contemplate the nature of liquid in a soda, leading him to suddenly need to use the restroom. With Cricket gone, Tilly can finally decide on a snack without interruption.
