Highlights
Orange and Pear are trying Warheads. Orange challenges Pear to eat two at a time, claiming it doubles the 'sour power'. Pear tries this and struggles. Orange then eats ten Warheads at once, leading to a temporary breakdown.
A new character, Sketchy Lemon, introduces himself and offers even 'saurer' candies. Pear bravely volunteers to try a 'Bleeding Tart', a level eight sour candy. He almost gets sucked into a sour vortex but is saved by thinking sweet thoughts.
Another friend volunteers to try a level nine sour candy, the 'Neon Orange'. This also nearly leads to him being pulled into a sour vortex, but he returns after thinking sweet thoughts about 'Orange's Mom'.
Orange, determined to prove himself, demands the absolute sourest candy Sketchy Lemon has. He's given a candy so sour it's unnamed and rated 'one billion'. Orange eats it and immediately creates a powerful sour vortex, threatening to pull everyone into 'Dimension Sour'.
The friends try to combat the vortex by throwing sweet items into it, but it's not enough. Sketchy Lemon's trench coat is swallowed. They realize they need the ultimate sweet thought to stop it.
Pear, remembering the power of sweet thoughts, finally tells Orange that he is his best friend. This declaration of friendship overpowers the sour vortex, stabilizing the situation.
Orange is saved, and he and Pear share an awkward best friend hug and kisses. Orange then reveals a 96-hour road trip CD of him singing Pear's favorite songs, which Pear immediately shuts off, concluding that 40 seconds of being best friends was enough.
