The Allure of the Seas, one of the largest ships ever built, recently underwent a massive makeover. It features seven distinct neighborhoods: Central Park, Royal Promenade, Boardwalk, Entertainment Place, Pools & Sport Zone, Youth Zone, and the Suite Neighborhood. These neighborhoods ensure a diverse range of activities and experiences across the ship.
The top deck features new water slides, four distinct pools, and an enhanced Splashaway Bay for kids. Aft on the ship, guests can enjoy two FlowRider surf simulators, a zipline over the Boardwalk, mini golf (Royal Dunes), and a full-size sports court for basketball, dodgeball, and pickleball. Forward, the Solarium offers an adults-only relaxation area with a bar and expansive views.
The Boardwalk boasts a full wooden carousel, an arcade, Zultar the Great, and Sugar Beach. The Ultimate Abyss, a 10-story dry slide, provides an exhilarating descent. Playmakers Sports Bar offers food and drinks with numerous screens for sports. Dual rock climbing walls are available, and the Aqua Theater at the aft showcases high-diving and acrobatic shows.
Upgrading to a suite grants access to the Suite Neighborhood, including the Coastal Kitchen restaurant for all meals and the Suite Lounge. Suite guests also receive priority boarding and disembarkation, and special theatre seating. The ship's entertainment includes the Broadway show Mamma Mia!, ice skating shows, the On Air Club for karaoke, Dazzles nightclub, and a comedy club with family-friendly and adult-only shows.
The Windjammer Marketplace offers classic buffet dining. Casual complimentary options include the Dog House, Cafe Promenade (sandwiches, pastries), Sorrento's Pizza, Park Cafe (sandwiches, salads, breakfast), El Loco Fresh (quick Mexican), and the Solarium Bistro. The three-story main dining room offers flexible seating and extensive menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Specialty restaurants offer diverse dining experiences: Chef's Table for a multi-course wine-paired menu, Samba Grill for Brazilian steakhouse fare, Johnny Rockets for 50s diner classics (complimentary for breakfast), Chops Grille for steakhouse cuisine, Giovanni's Table for Italian dishes, and 150 Central Park for an elevated farm-to-table experience. The new Mason Jar offers Southern cooking for brunch and dinner, while Izumi provides sushi and hibachi.
The ship features numerous bars: Schooner Bar with a nautical theme and piano, Solarium Bar for adult relaxation, Vintages for wine connoisseurs, the new Pesky Parrot tiki bar, Mason Jar Bar with live country music, Trellis Bar in Central Park, Playmakers Sports Bar, the three-story Lime and Coconut bar on the pool deck, Boleros for Latin dancing, the unique Rising Tide Bar (an ascending/descending elevator bar), an English Pub with live music, and the Wipeout Bar by the sports deck.
Royal Caribbean's Adventure Ocean program caters to children from 6 months to teens. Adventure Oceans Baby (6-36 months old) requires reservations and has an additional cost. The Tots program (3-5 years) has a dedicated space and activities. Kids aged 6-12 have greatly expanded spaces with an arena, sports activities like bowling and Gaga Ball, and an art studio. The Adventure Ocean Theater offers puppet shows and entertainment. Babysitting services are available. A dedicated teen club and activities around the ship are also provided.
The Vitality Spa and Fitness Center offer extensive services: massages, facials, IV treatments, teeth whitening, and a full-service salon. The fitness center provides world-class workout equipment and classes. A dedicated walking and jogging track encircles the ship. The Casino Royale features classic table games and slots, with a newly added smoke-free casino. Extensive duty-free shops offer makeup, perfumes, jewelry, watches, and logo gear.
