Season 5, Episode 5 - 'A Wind-dried Puffin' | Full Episode | Taskmaster

High-Octane Items00:00:00

The contestants bring in items they consider high-octane to be judged by Alex Horne. Items include a pair of trousers Alex stole, pig feed that makes pigs enormous, a rubber band hands-free kit that cuts off blood flow to the brain, a rocket bike made for a son, and bruschetta ingredients placed in a balloon. Alex awards points based on the scare factor and risk.

Balloon Task00:07:08

Contestants must put the biggest thing inside a balloon, inflate it, tie it, and ensure it is bigger than their head within ten minutes. Mark Watson uses bruschetta ingredients, Sally Phillips attempts to fit a vine, and Nish Kumar puts stones inside a balloon. Points are awarded for successful inflation and size.

Water Cooler Moment00:15:45

The contestants have one hour to create the most remarkable water cooler moment involving a water cooler. Bob Mortimer rips an apple in half with his bare hands, Aisling Bea fishes from a small boat in a water cooler, Sally Phillips holds a cherry like a ring of men, and Mark Watson attempts to pass a water cooler around the country via a chain of people.

Special Text Task00:26:27

Mark Watson is given a special task to send the Taskmaster an anonymous cheeky text message every single day for five months using an old phone. He sends 148 texts instead of the required 150 and receives no points from Greg Davies.

Tallest Tower of Cans00:29:41

Contestants must build the tallest tower of cans on a table while shaking Alex's hand and naming a different country every ten seconds. Alex blows a whistle every ten seconds to signal the interval. Nish Kumar names 25 countries but stacks fewer cans than Bob Mortimer and Mark Watson, who both stack six cans.

Find the Finns00:38:41

For the final task, contestants must identify which of five people are Finnish by asking one question each, without asking about nationality. Mark Watson wins the task and receives five points. Final scores are tallied, declaring Mark Watson the winner of the episode.
