It's George's birthday! George is woken up early by his family. He receives a dinosaur toy and a dinosaur birthday card from Peppa. For his birthday treat, the family goes to the museum's dinosaur room. There, George's friends surprise him with a dinosaur cake and a bouncy dinosaur. Everyone has fun bouncing and celebrating George's special day.
Peppa and George wake up early and discover their cuckoo clock is not working. Daddy Pig winds it up, explaining how the cuckoo comes out once an hour. George is eager to see the cuckoo but keeps missing it while playing or being distracted. Eventually, Peppa and George fix the clock at night, causing it to go off repeatedly, but then they learn the cuckoo needs to sleep, just like them.
Peppa and her family go ice skating. Peppa is initially overconfident but finds it difficult, falling frequently. Daddy Pig shows her that everyone falls, and Mummy Pig teaches Peppa how to glide. Peppa becomes very good, but Daddy Pig forgets to teach her how to stop. George, initially worried, surpises everyone by being a natural at ice skating, performing beautifully.
Peppa and George visit Daddy Pig's office. They ride the lift to the top floor. Mr. Rabbit shows them his job of stamping papers, and Mrs. Cat demonstrates drawing and printing shapes on the computer. Daddy Pig's job is described as complex, involving numbers and tangents, but he uses coloring pens. Peppa and George enjoy drawing at his desk.
It's raining, and Peppa reminds George to wear his rain hat to avoid catching a cold. George dislikes his hat and takes it off to jump in puddles. He ends up catching a cold. Dr. Brown Bear visits and advises warm milk and rest. George has a noisy night, but after a good sleep and the warm milk, he wakes up feeling better the next morning.
Peppa and George enjoy playing hide-and-seek in their long garden grass. Daddy Pig initially likes the 'wild garden' look but changes his mind when their ball gets lost in the tall grass. His old lawnmower fails, so they call Grandpa Pig, who arrives with his powerful motor mower, Betsy. Everyone rides on Betsy, and the grass is quickly cut, revealing the lost ball.
Peppa and her friends go on a school bus trip to the mountains. Pedro Pony is almost late but makes it just in time. Miss Rabbit drives the bus. They enjoy the scenic view from the top of the mountain and learn about echoes. During their picnic, ducks unexpectedly appear, enjoying the bread they share. On the way home, they all sing the Bing Bong song.
