Upon reaching a village, Wukong and his companions are immediately met with hostility by the villagers, who mistake them for demons. Despite explanations from Pigy and Tang Monk, the villager Anna remains unconvinced and threatens to attack. Sandy's provocation leads to the villagers firing arrows, which Wukong easily blocks. As Wukong prepares to retaliate, Tang Monk intervenes to explain their true identities.

A loud roar signals the arrival of a lion demon. Wukong initially dismisses the threat, but then recognizes the demon as a former underling. The lion demon acts friendly, but Wukong suspects his intentions. True to his suspicions, the lion demon suddenly attacks. Wukong skillfully dodges and counter-attacks, sending the demon flying. Though distracted by Pigy, Wukong remains calm when the lion demon attacks again.

Wukong, calm and composed, uses his mental powers to control his golden staff, slamming the lion demon off a cliff. Witnessing Wukong's actions, the villagers realize their mistake and invite the group into their village.
