Later, at an auction, Qin Tianmian acquires spirit stones, essential for his cultivation, by decisively defeating powerful martial artists, including Black Pan, a disciple of the criminal mastermind Black Hades, earning him respect and fear from all present.
Qin Tianmian's rising power attracts the attention of Bai Qiushan, head of the Dragon Soul Unit, who seeks to recruit him. Qin Tianmian agrees under specific conditions, demanding resources and autonomy. He is subsequently appointed as a Major General, becoming 'Qin Jietian.' At a grand banquet, he is introduced as the youngest Major General in the Dragon Kingdom's history, stunning those who previously underestimated him, including Zhu Yingjie, the mayor's son, whom he publicly humiliates.
Qin Tianmian learns that Colonel Bai was severely injured by Black Hades. He enters a mystical forest, where he encounters Shen Qinglan and Qin Tianhe, who are searching for a hundred-year vermilion fruit. He uses his abilities to save Guan Ho from a monster and later confronts Black Hades and two Earth Realm masters. Back in Linzhou, Qin Tianmian assists Su Yimo, whose business is under attack by Shen Qinglan’s company, Qingmei. He provides Su Yimo with superior cosmetic and healing formulas, rapidly turning the tide of the commercial battle. He fires incompetent and disloyal staff, showcasing his decisive leadership. Later, he confronts his uncle and cousin, who attempt to extort him, and asserts his authority over the Qin Gang, solidifying his independence from the Qin family. He learns his mother may still be alive and is sought by an SSS-class assassin, Night Sky, hired by the Ren family, whom he easily defeats.
Qin Tianmian faces his father, Qin Xiao, and Shen Qinglan, who attempt to reconcile with him and bring him back into the Qin family. He firmly rejects them, declaring his complete severance from the Qin family and mocking their past contempt for him. He further asserts his dominance by preventing Qin Tianhe from joining the Dragon Soul and warns Shen Qinglan that her company can never surpass Su Yimo's.
