Tina falls ill and is diagnosed with a rare kidney disease requiring a transplant. Her father and brothers cannot be donors, and Brian disappears. Jerry selflessly steps up and donates one of his kidneys, saving Tina's life. Following the successful surgery, Tina recovers.
It's discovered that Joy framed Tina, confessed after trying to frame another contestant, leading to Joy's suspension and Tina's reinstatement in the pageant. Tina, despite her nervousness, performs confidently. She wins the pageant, and when Brian tries to steal the moment, Jerry intervenes, resulting in him punching Brian. Jerry then shares a passionate kiss with Tina, marking the beginning of their romantic relationship.
