Edgar recounts his first angelic experience in 1989, at the age of 20 or 21, shortly after his twin brother passed away. He describes an angel appearing in his bedroom, initially causing fear, but then delivering a message about his prayers being answered. The angel urged him to come with him to speak with the Lord, but Edgar, feeling undeserving and angry at God, refused, letting go of the angel's hand and returning to his body.
Edgar explains that his interest in Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) was sparked by his mother's passing. While he had heard many sermons, few discussed heaven, hell, or what happens after death. He began researching NDEs online, seeking answers about the afterlife. He describes hearing the voice of the Lord after his mother's death, assuring him that she was with Him, bringing a sense of peace.
Edgar describes getting severely ill with COVID, bronchitis, and pneumonia. While in immense pain, he heard the Lord's voice instructing him to close his eyes. Upon doing so, his spirit left his body. He saw his lifeless body and then encountered Jesus, who instructed him that it wasn't his time and he needed to go back. He woke up in the hospital, gasping for air, confirming his first NDE.
While being wheeled to a COVID unit, Edgar struggled to breathe. A female 'nurse' with long blonde hair and blue eyes, not wearing mandatory protective gear, helped him with his oxygen and reassured him. Later, he asked another nurse to find her, but she was nowhere to be found, and the staff confirmed that no one matching her description worked on that floor. The nurse then asked Edgar if he believed in 'holy intervention,' leading him to realize he had been helped by an angel.
Back in his hospital bed, Edgar had another NDE. His bed started shaking, and he felt himself rising. He found himself in a beautiful, bright place with green grass, golden bricks, and diamonds on the ground. He realized he was in heaven and was overwhelmed with joy. He saw people dressed in royal garments, including a beautiful young woman who revealed that the people he saw were his miscarried children, including his daughter, Evangeline. He was given a choice to stay or return, ultimately choosing to return to his family.
After his NDEs, Edgar came home with new spiritual gifts and continued to receive visions. An angel visited him, giving him four words: salvation, healing, blessings, and deliverance, signifying his calling. Later, he had a vision of an angel blowing a shofar, but it wasn't the rapture. The angel explained that the people being taken were 'chosen ones' who would preach the true gospel in the end times, because God is tired of the sin in the world and, more specifically, in 'His supposedly bride.' He was directed to Proverbs Chapter 6 about the seven things God abhors, highlighting current issues within the church.
