Demitra explains that another woman was tailgating her. She pulled over, and at a stop sign, the other woman gave her the middle finger. Demitra retaliated, and then claims the other woman threw a glass bottle at her car, prompting Demitra to 'go after her' and intentionally hit her car.

An ambulance is called for Demitra's injuries. Her sister repeatedly interferes, telling Demitra not to speak until their mother arrives. There's confusion about a blood stain on Demitra's car, which she denies is hers. Demitra is uncooperative with the officer's questions about her movements and refuses to exit her car.

An officer finds a blue Star Wars themed metal water bottle, halfway full, making Nicole's disposal claim unlikely. Nicole is charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing, and reckless driving. Demitra admitted her intention was to 'slap the out of her' and was charged with felony second-degree recklessly endangering safety, resisting, obstructing, and disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon modifier. She later took a plea deal and received three years probation.
