The proposed work investigates the Bodo culture in Udalguri district, examining material culture, customary laws, festivals, ceremonies, and religious life, with a specific focus on changes over time.
The study employs a comparative and analytical methodology, integrating traditional and modern Bodo culture. Both primary data, gathered through questionnaires, event participation, observations, and interactions, and secondary data from published materials and government documents, will be utilized. Traditional rites and rituals will be compared with current practices. Field studies will involve observation and participation. Additionally, geographical, discourse, deductive, inductive, cross-cultural, folk culture, and mass culture methods will be incorporated.
