Summary
Highlights
The Trick or Treat event allows players to get both Trick and Treat Boxes. Trick Boxes are obtained with Candy and contain new and old Brawl-o-ween Skins, cosmetics, progression items, Starr Powers, Gadgets, Hypercharges, and Brawlers. Treat Boxes are Trophy Boxes that can be upgraded to Ultra using Candy, offering a chance at Legendary and Hypercharge Skins, and can be opened twice per season.
Candy can be earned through daily wins and by defeating new Brawl-o-ween bosses. A 'Sugar Rush' button provides a massive bonus for every match played for ten minutes, whether boss fights or normal matches. This bonus is not always available, so players should strategize to maximize its use, perhaps by playing with low Trophy Brawlers or easy bosses.
The event introduces six new bosses with unique mechanics: Plague Doctor Crow (high mobility, poison damage), The Headless Tickman (summons tick heads), Caretta Spike (long-range attacks with patterns to learn), Kizu Kenji (ghost seeking revenge), Gargoyle R-T (fortress-like, requires zone control), and Ghost Diver Rico (bullet hell, requires dodging skills). Each boss becomes harder with successive wins.
This season also features a Brawl-o-ween Brawl Pass, including a top-tier Crow skin. New Brawl-o-ween skins will be available in the shop after the event, including the Porcelain Skins, and a community event will conclude the Brawl-o-ween festivities.
