Yeoh also pledged to combat incel culture to prevent similar tragedies.
Shing Shuen's life was taken on October 14th at SMK Bandar Utama 4 when a 14-year-old boy allegedly attacked her with a knife in a toilet, inflicting over 200 stab wounds. The suspect has been arrested, and investigations are ongoing. A post-mortem has been conducted, with the pathology report expected within a month.
A wake was held at Nirvana Center Kuala Lumpur's Imperial Memorial Hall from October 16th. Relatives, friends, and classmates brought flowers, photographs, and handwritten notes for Shing Shuen, remembering her kindness, laughter, and love of volleyball.
