Felagund and his companions take the armor and weaponry of their fallen enemies from Angband. They mask their appearance by applying dark pigment to their skin and crafting wigs from the matted hair of goblins.

Felagund performs a powerful spell of shifting shape. Through his song, the companions are physically altered, gaining hideous features, fanged teeth, and distorted mouths to successfully masquerade as goblins.
