He plans to make a domestic animated movie based on Chinese myths, like 'Ne Zha,' and intends to self-fund the initial investment.
Kang Woo needs to make quick money for his animation project. A new mission for Grandfather Jiang Boyo to revitalize the Han Dynasty by providing weapons rewards him with a city-center apartment and 10 million dollars. He saves a woman named Luo Yu-jie from a thief and later finds out she is buying a fireworks factory. He uses his wealth to outbid Jung Chul for the factory, which is rumored to be demolished soon, much to Jung Chul's dismay.
Meibing calls Kang Woo as their daughter, Yi-Yi, has a high fever. She admits her neglect and Kang Woo takes Yi-Yi to his new spacious home. He initiates a custody battle, highlighting his stable income and new house, while Jung Chul is now bankrupt. Meibing is devastated and begins to regret her choices, even attempting to seduce Kang Woo to get back together, which he rejects.
Kang Woo's sister-in-law, Meiguo, is kicked out by Jung Chul after his bankruptcy. Kang Woo gets a mission to help his ancestor (Mrs. Jiang Hongyu) conceive a child, rewarding him with the Dongbei Restaurant Chain and a 'Heart of the Ocean' jewelry piece. He then uses his new restaurant to treat Meiguo, who starts hoping he is interested in her. His ex-wife's cousin's boyfriend tries to embarrass Kang Woo and Meiguo in the restaurant, but Kang Woo reveals he owns it.
Kang Woo gives Meibing's sister, Meiguo, the 'Heart of the Ocean' which surprises her. After proving he owns the Dongbei restaurant, Kang Woo tells Meiguo that he won't get back with her sister due to the past. They share a moment at his apartment afterwards.
Kang Woo receives an 'Antique Appraisal' skill from a mission. He plans to use it to buy a gift for Jiang Shuwan's grandfather's birthday. At the antique market, he uses his skill to identify a valuable Kangxi kiln blue and white porcelain vase, worth 50 million dollars, which he buys for only 20 dollars. He presents this as a gift, while his rival, Ethan, offers a fake glazed bowl he bought for 5 million dollars, embarrassing himself.
Ethan, humiliated, attempts to assault Jiang Shuwan, but Kang Woo steps in and fights him off. Kang Woo receives a mission to find a suitable partner for Eunuch Kang Huatian, who desired to be a 'full man' again. The reward for this is a Porsche Taycan. He visits a doctor again for advice, this time on finding a partner for his 'elder'.
Kang Woo receives the Porsche Taycan as a reward. He decides to give it to Luo Yu-jie, who is currently attending driving school. At the driving school, Kang Woo confronts her rude instructor. He challenges the instructor to a race, easily winning and forcing the instructor to apologize to Luo Yu-jie. He then gifts the Porsche to Luo Yu-jie, stating it suits her more, while explaining his passion for justice.
Luo Yu-jie invites Kang Woo to her home for dinner as a thank you, where she tries to cook for him. He politely leaves, sensing her intentions and feeling uncomfortable. He then receives an urgent ancestral mission from Jiang Huatian. The mission is to help his ancestor, Jiang Xuan, improve his combat power, with the reward of the Yellow Emperor's Internal Canon.
