Highlights
Before beginning the overhaul, ensure you have special tools and spare parts like O-rings and main seal rings. Stop the purifier by turning off the breaker and closing necessary valves. Drain any remaining oil from the piping before proceeding. Remove nuts from the ceiling water tube, cover nut, and the nut fixing the inlet pipe. Loosen the socket set screw and strike the inlet pipe top with a plastic or rubber hammer. Loosen nuts from the purified oil outlet pipe, dirty oil inlet pipe (being careful not to lose the flow rate regulating orifices), and heavy liquid connecting tube. Finally, remove the sludge cover by loosening its four socket cap screws, and prepare to lift the upper hood with a chain lock.
Begin disassembling the bowl by removing the disc nut using its handle and a hammer. Proceed to remove the heavy liquid chamber, impeller, gravity disc with packing, and the light liquid chamber using its dedicated handle and a hammer. Next, remove impeller one and the inlet pipe. To remove the bowl itself, first unscrew the cap nut that tightens the bowl to the vertical shaft using a spanner and hammer.
Use a special tool or jack to lift the bowl by threading it into the distributor's threaded part. Tighten the jack until the bowl is slightly raised, then use a chain block to lift it. Land the bowl onto a dismantling stand, ensuring the stand's pins fit into the holes at the bottom of the bowl. After securing, remove the jack.
Screw the bolt of the clamp plate into the distributor by hand, checking to see the distributor's rib in the pip hole. Tighten the nut until the rib is level with the top disc. Place the bow nut handle on the bow nut and remove it by striking it with a hammer in a counterclockwise direction. Remove the disc clamp plate. Put a protective plate on the distributor's top and position the jack on the bow hood with a disc nut. Turn the push bolt clockwise to remove the bow hood.
Remove the top disc, followed by the upper discs. Mount the jack on the distributor and lift it to remove the discs located inside the distributor. To remove the main cylinder, place the protective plate and the jack with socket cap screws on the main cylinder. Turn down the jack with its push bolt and handle to extract the main cylinder.
Finally, remove the pilot valves. Use an Allen wrench or hexagon rod spanner to remove the valve nut. Then, use a special tool or jack with a dismantling bolt to extract the pilot valve. Remember to also check the two drain nozzles.
